“I am a good daughter,”
Marjorie put emphasis to this in her recently concluded exclusive interview with Karen Davila on TV Patrol tonight, August 22.
After a series of counter attacking allegations against her sister, Gretchen, Marjorie finally broke her silence and stood to her promise that she will reveal the truth after his father will be laid to rest.
First she answered was the real score between her niece, Nicole, with the businessman Atong Ang. Nicole was the niece referred to who allegedly attacked Gretchen on the wake of his father.
Ang earlier denied that he had a relationship with Nicole, yet, Marjorie confirmed tonight that her niece and Ang did had a 5-year relationship.
According to her, Ang allegedly messaged Nicole to leave the wake before he and Gretchen arrives because, “magkakaroon ng gulo”. She and her family got offended that’s why on the viral video, she seemed furious and angry. But, according to her, it was not just her but her family also. All because they got offended at how Ang somehow insulted their niece to leave the place, when in fact, her niece has more right to stay.
Marjorie also revealed that it was Atong Ang whom she referred to as the “powerful boyfriend in-a-bad-way” of Gretchen.
Moreover, Marjorie said that it was not her who had a nervous breakdown which Gretchen claimed.
“I wasn’t the one with nervous breakdown. I was sitting quietly with the President on the left side of the chapel, exchanging pleasantries… We ended well, habang si Gretchen nakikipagbugbugan doon. Para klaro sa lahat. Siya ang gumawa ng gulo. Hindi ako. I respect my father,” Marjorie said.

She also clarified that it was not true that she is against their reconciliation. According to her, she is on for a reconciliation, but not an orchestrated one.
Marjorie claimed that the reason she declined to the President’s request on giving Gretchen a handshake was because, according to her, she could see the insincerity in Gretchen. She was certain about that because she knows Gretchen the most.
“Now when we talk about her painting me as a bad daughter, I will put my foot down. I am a good daughter. I am present every Sunday, every family event, I throw their parties, I serve them, I visit my family.
“Speaking of not inviting your mother to your house — Gretchen, for more than 25 years, has never invited my parents to her house, any of her mansions and rest houses, not even to their garage. So don’t paint me as the bad daughter, Gretchen,” stated Marjorie.
Responding to the allegation that his father died of a heart attack because she did not invite her mother to his birthday, Marjorie said those were all lies. According to her, she was on good terms with her mother, thus inviting her, but her mother got ill on that day and that is why she was not able to attend.
“Ako, gusto ko ibalik ‘yung tanong kay Gretchen: Kailan ka ba mapapagod? When will you start healing so you can stop hurting everybody? I pray for healing. I sincerely pray for healing,” said Marjorie, ending the interview.
